The former head of Kosovo's negotiating team in the dialogue with Serbia, Edita Tahiri, assessed today that possible border changes in the Balkans would be "good for Albanians", because, as she said, "it would unite (that) tragically divided nation". Tahiri wrote on Facebook that "speculations about peace talks led by Trump have begun".
"Speculations by pro-Russian and pro-Serbian analysts affirm the idea of changing borders, including in the Balkans, namely between Kosovo and Serbia," Tahiri stated.
She, however, says that the American president "knows very well that there is no change in borders in just one part of the Balkans and they will change in the entire Balkans, through peace or war."
According to her, changing the borders is good for Albanians, because it would lead to the unification of "an already tragically divided Albanian nation."
