Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić assessed that those gathered at the rally in Belgrade on Saturday, March 15, will try to carry out a revolution, take over the Parliament, Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), and the Constitutional Court.
Vučić said at a session of the main board of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) that anyone who commits any violence will go "behind bars".
"We will let them go for five or six minutes. They will be very brave. They will throw stones and cannon fire. We will let them go to the Parliament, to go to everything, and then the state will show that it is a state and we will play the end game," said the Serbian president.
In his words, no one "normal and decent" will come to the rally on March 15th.
The students in the blockade announced that they will organize a rally in Belgrade on Saturday, and academics and high school students from various cities began a protest march towards the Serbian capital today to attend the protest.
Announced "the largest rally in the history of Serbia"
Vučić announced that a gathering of his supporters will be held in Belgrade on March 28th, and that the process of forming the Movement for the People and the State will begin on March 21st.
He claims that it will be the largest gathering in the history of Serbia.
"We invite all of Serbia's workers, laborers, peasants, and honest people to the largest rally in the history of Serbia on March 28th in Belgrade. All of Serbia to Belgrade! From all over our country," said Vučić.
