The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) has sent a new summons to the President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik for questioning, on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of "attack on the constitutional order", the Sarajevo-based portal Raport reported.
Dodik has been invited to the BiH Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo tomorrow.
He previously failed to respond to two calls from the state prosecutor's office, stating that, as he said, he had not received the calls.
Dodik was first supposed to report to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH on Friday, March 7th, and then on Monday, March 11th.
According to the procedure, if Dodik refuses the last invitation to give a statement to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, his detention may be ordered, and if he avoids that too, the Prosecutor's Office may request that the Court of BiH order his detention and issue an arrest warrant.
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska, Nenad Stevandić, was also summoned to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH today, and is also suspected of undermining the constitutional order of BiH.
Dodik, Sevandić, and the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska, Radovan Višković, are suspected of committing the criminal offense of "attacking the constitutional order of BiH" by launching the initiative, adopting it in the Republika Srpska parliament, and promulgating the law banning the work of the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (HJPC), and the BiH Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).
