The student blockade of the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) building, located on Takovska Street, in downtown Belgrade, ended tonight at around 21 p.m.
A student standing in front of the entrance to the building thanked citizens for their support during the blockade of the media outlet this evening and said that the students were not tired, and that they were expected at the protest scheduled for Saturday, March 15th.
Previously, during the central news broadcast of that television station, those gathered made noise and shouted "woo" and "come out."
Participants in the blockade cleaned the area around the building before it ended.
Students blocked the public service building last night at 23 pm, dissatisfied with the fact that an RTS journalist called the protesters a "mob".
During the 22-hour blockade, employees were allowed to leave the building, but not to enter it. Some nevertheless managed to sneak into the RTS building, crawling on the concrete, through a basement window from which the bars had been removed, and then through the basement rooms.
In front of the main entrance, security guards formed a human wall, preventing employees from entering the building in the usual way.
