Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin confirmed in the Serbian Parliament that members of his Movement of Socialists blocked N1 today and said that "it won't be difficult for them to come again, if we haven't heard them properly," N1 reports.
A group of about a hundred people, mostly from Aleksandar Vulin's Socialist Movement, blocked the entrance to the courtyard where the N1 offices are located for an hour and a half today. The N1 editorial office was greatly supported by employees from companies in the nearby "Airport City" and other citizens who, among other things, chanted: "Pump", "Saturday", "Sing the anthem"...
At today's Assembly session, Vulin did not hide that members of his party were in front of our editorial office today.
"They came to tell them that there is another Serbia, one that is never seen on their cameras, never on their shows, whose voice is never heard except with insults, threats... a Serbia that has no place of its own, a Serbia that is never talked about," Vulin said.
He said that members of his party wanted to show that "there is also a Serbia that they do not understand, and certainly do not love, certainly hate."
"And he is not afraid of them, nor of their hatred, nor of the violence of their bosses. That Serbia came in front of N1 today," Vulin said, mockingly adding that he expects the EU and journalist associations to make a statement "so that, God forbid, a different opinion cannot be heard."
"We wanted, and we succeeded, in showing the hypocrisy that reigns in our media space, in which all hatred is permitted and rewarded only if it goes against President Vučić and his comrades," Vulin said, threatening that it would not be difficult for them to come again if we had not heard them properly.
"All of this can be avoided very simply - through dialogue, conversation. The benches in parliament will be filled with the opposition, the benches in schools with pupils, the halls in our faculties with professors and students, life will become normal," said Vulin, adding that after that, elections will come where you can remove or support the government.
