Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today that "Serbia is fed up with those who have been terrorizing it for four months," adding that they must do everything to avoid violence, but also to oppose those who "destroy and destroy" the country.
"It's boiling in Serbia, literally boiling, but they don't see it. Serbia is fed up with those who have been terrorizing it for four months. And we must do everything to avoid violence and to stand up to those who are destroying and destroying our country," Vučić said in a video address on Instagram.
He added that he would therefore "in the shortest possible period" call on people to demonstrate in a peaceful and dignified manner that they want a "free Serbia".
"Be assured, there will be no shortage of courage or anything else, even if there are 1.000 or 2.000 of us. No one will be able to stop that seed of resistance and freedom from germinating and growing. In the end, Serbia will win. Expect an invitation soon," Vučić said.
The President of Serbia claims that "every baker, hairdresser, and restaurateur is suffering because of the problems that have been caused in the past four months."
"Because people don't know how to make ends meet for the first time in 10 years, because people are increasingly seeing where and how to achieve a better future for themselves and their children," Vučić said.
During the previous night, students in a blockade occupied the GSP depot in New Belgrade, which is why public transport is not operating in that city this morning.
