Serbian authorities are grateful to Russian special services for the information that helps in the fight against the color revolution, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin told RIA Novosti, RT Balkan reports today.
"I am very grateful to the Russian special services who always support us in our fight against color revolutions, primarily with information," he said.
Vulin added that "they (Russian services) know what kind of danger threatens Serbia," the RT Balkan website writes.
"We have very good communication and I am very grateful for that," said Vulin, who is also the president of the Movement of Socialists, a long-time coalition partner of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party.
He said that previously the special services of Russia and Serbia had officially agreed to cooperate in the fight against color revolutions and that, as he stated, "this still remains in force."
He stressed that he respects citizens who participate in the protests, but that, as he stated, "there should be no foreign interference in these processes."
"We respect the large number of people who came to the rally on March 15th in Belgrade and their right to express their views. But we believe that foreigners should not interfere in all this. And I must admit that it is now a well-known fact that this is a color revolution, financed and organized by Western intelligence services," Vulin said.
The text also states that he admitted that many ordinary, honest citizens participate in the rallies, but that behind them are activists hired by the West - NGOs and embassies.
