Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) journalist Sasa Dragojlo claims that he was attacked today near the Đeram Market in Belgrade by an activist of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and that the police failed to react on that occasion.
"15 minutes ago, I was attacked by an SNS activist at the Đeram market while, as a BIRN journalist, I was filming a scuffle between citizens protesting in front of the SNS stand. The police are refusing to identify him and detain him," Dragojlo wrote on the social network X.
Media reported earlier today that SNS activists had set up party stands at the corner of Veljko Dugoševića and Zvezdarskih jelki streets in the Belgrade municipality of Zvezdara, in the same place they were on Saturday, but from where they left due to citizen outcry.
