In Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to the rain that has fallen in recent days, numerous cities and municipalities have been flooded, with the most difficult situation in the north and northwest of Republika Srpska (RS).
In the Gradiška area, more than 70 households were flooded due to the rising water level of the Sava River, and three bridges were damaged.
The situation is also difficult in Prijedor, where a state of emergency has been declared against flooding. Around 350 residential and auxiliary buildings were flooded last night, the Prijedor City Administration announced.

Firefighters carried out 12 evacuations, and two families were temporarily housed in a hotel.

The water levels of the Sana and Gomjenica rivers rose during the night and the rivers overflowed into the settlements of Gomjenica and Tukovi, where a wider area was flooded. The flooded area of Prijedor was visited today by the Prime Minister of the entity government, Radovan Višković.
The water levels of most other rivers in the RS are stagnant or declining and this trend will continue throughout the day, the Hydrometeorological Institute of the RS announced.
The situation in Laktaši has improved compared to yesterday, and the level of the Vrbas River is decreasing. The situation is also stabilizing when it comes to river water levels in the Banja Luka area, where the night passed peacefully.
In the area of the Srbac municipality, about thirty houses were flooded, mainly in the villages of Lijevče polje along the left bank of the Vrbas River.
In Kostajnica, in the northwest of Republika Srpska, a state of emergency was declared this morning and warning sirens sounded, as the water level of the Una River exceeded 450 centimeters.
In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the most difficult situation is in Sanski Most, where water has entered the basement of the municipality. The situation is also difficult in the areas of Bihać and Zenica, as well as the Brčko District.
