The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, says he has received information from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that Interpol has rejected the request of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to issue a red notice for him and the President of the RS National Assembly, Nenad Stevandić.

"President Vučić just called me to tell me that he received notification from the Interpol Directorate that Serbia's appeal had been accepted and that Interpol had rejected the request of the Court of BiH to issue a red warrant for Stevandić and me," Dodik wrote on Iks.

He thanked Vučić for his support and "clear and principled communication" with Interpol.

"Thank you also to the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, as well as to the presidents of all other countries who have filed an appeal, understanding the political background of the legal persecution to which I am exposed," he added.

Stevandić also spoke out.

"News has arrived from Lyon: Bosnia and Herzegovina is a dark province in which people elected by the people who exercise constitutional functions are persecuted, on a political and national basis. I expect the resignations of everyone from the judiciary and political milieu who committed this atrocity. "I expect a public apology from the media that created a campaign and a harangue and launched untruths. I expect nothing from the Bosniak traitors, let them suffer alone. My sincere thanks to Serbia. And let it be known, whatever Serbophobes do or don't do, Republika Srpska wins. Cheers," Stevandić wrote.

A central arrest warrant has been issued for Dodik in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Court of BiH has requested that an Interpol arrest warrant be issued as well.

Serbia was the first to object to this request to Interpol, followed by Hungary.

On March 27, the Court of BiH stated that the issuance of an international arrest warrant had been requested the day before by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which is charging Dodik and Stevandić, as well as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković "and other persons" with attacking the constitutional order of BiH.
