Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić summed up his impressions from the "We Will Not Give Up Serbia" rally held in Belgrade on Saturday and "read out the wishes, greetings and congratulations" from citizens this morning.
Sharp-eyed viewers, N1 reports, noticed that he forged a letter from an eight-year-old boy during the live program.
The letter from eight-year-old Pavle, written in childish handwriting and large block letters, was shown in close-up on TV Pink. Thanks to this, viewers were able to notice a slight difference between what Vučić was reading and what he was writing on paper.
"I often play chess with my grandfather and I always beat him. I love Serbia very much. I coach basketball, watch the Euroleague and Jokić," Vučić read.
And what did it actually say?
The boy did write that he loves Serbia and plays chess with his grandfather, but his choice is not Nikola Jokić but Novak Đoković.
"I love Serbia very much. I watch the world tennis champion Novak Djokovic," it says on the paper on which the child's message is written.
Jokić has repeatedly supported the Serbian Progressive Party and Vučić, while Đoković and his wife Jelena supported the students, which is why they were the target of tabloids.
