Police and gendarmerie cordons were set up in front of the students, while the streets around RTS were blocked.
According to one of the security guards, RTS workers, accompanied by police, entered the television building at around 5 am today. That is why the students decided to stand in front of the cordon. Several student security guards are in front of all the entrances.

Apart from the occasional pushing of students in the blockade and the presence of a small number of citizens, there were no incidents.
Students have been blocking the entrances to the RTS building in Belgrade since Monday evening, while members of the police and Gendarmerie broke the blockade of Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) in Novi Sad in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Students blocking higher education institutions in Belgrade have requested that the Committee on Culture and Information of the Serbian Parliament repeat the process of electing members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM).
They stated that they are seeking the cancellation of the previous public call and the publication of a new one, with a transparent process.
"The protest in front of RTS will last until you publish the Public Call for the election of REM Council members," the students in the blockade said in a statement.
Belgrade and Novi Sad students blocked the RTS and RTV buildings in a coordinated action, claiming that the public media services were not reporting objectively on their protests.
