Students in the blockade and citizens supporting them continued to block the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) buildings on Takovska Street and Košutnjak in Belgrade, RTS reported today on its website.

Due to the blockades, parts of Takovska Street, Ilija Garašanin Street and Major Ilić Street were closed to traffic.

Students and citizens are blocking the entrances to the RTS facilities on Takovska and Aberdareva Streets, as well as the studios on Košutnjak, this morning, preventing employees from coming to their workplaces.

RTS reported that due to the difficult working conditions caused by the blockade, it was forced to adjust its programming schedule, criminal charges were filed with the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade against unidentified persons, and a response from international institutions was requested.

Students in the blockade have been blocking the public service building since April 14 at 22 p.m., and they stated that the blockade will last "until a new competition for members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) is announced, or until RTS is shut down."
