Students spent the seventh night in a blockade in front of the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) building on Takovska Street in Belgrade, and as a Beta agency reporter reports, there were more people present than on previous nights.
Students and citizens filled the plateau in front of the RTS building, the area in front of the Main Post Office all the way to Svetogorska Street, and Aberdareva Street was also blocked.
As Beta's reporter reports, more than 15.000 people came to support the students, all entrances and approaches to RTS were blocked, and a DJ entertained the crowd.
In addition to students, representatives from citizens' assemblies of Belgrade municipalities and settlements, as well as veterans, participated in the duty.
Those gathered carried banners reading "Without revolution, there is no evolution", "Machinists against machinery", "Faculty thinks critically" and "Student Radio Television", and the Serbian flag and the flags of the faculties they come from were also flying.
The blockade was also supported by students from Novi Pazar who came to relieve the academics of the Orthodox faith who are celebrating Easter.
A group of students from Novi Pazar who arrived as reinforcements brought 3.000 mantija (a type of dish) on the occasion of Easter, which they gave to students who are on blockade in Takovska and academics who are blocking the RTS premises on Košutnjak.
During the day, Slavoljub Muslin, the former coach of the Serbian football team, supported the students at the blockade.
