Republika Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik asked today in East Sarajevo - how it is possible that High Representative Christian Schmidt's decision blocks funds from the budget for the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and United Srpska (US).
"That's democracy? On what basis are they doing that?" Dodik said, reported Banja Luka's "Nezavisne novine".
He stated that due to sanctions previously imposed on him by the United States of America (USA), he receives his salary by mail, that he is the President of the RS and does not receive a salary from the party.
The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Christian Schmidt, announced today in Sarajevo that he has made a decision to block funding for the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats and United Srpska, due to their attacks on the Dayton Agreement and the constitutional order of BiH.
"The funds will be suspended and redirected to a special account at the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina," said Schmidt.
