The Special Prosecutor's Office in Kosovo has issued an international arrest warrant for former Serbian List vice-president Milan Radoičić, due to barricades placed in four northern municipalities during 2022, prosecutor's office spokesperson Arbnora Luta confirmed to Reporteri.net.
Luta said that in addition to Radoičić, arrest warrants have been issued for 10 other suspects in this case, which is in the investigation phase.
The Basic Court in Pristina has approved the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, or the prosecutor in the case, to issue a local and international arrest warrant against Milan Radoičić, reports N1.
The warrant was issued as part of investigative actions being taken in the case of barricades being set up in four northern municipalities in 2022, she added.
According to her, around 50 people are currently being investigated for criminal offences including obstructing an official in the performance of official duty, inciting resistance and joining unconstitutional activities.
A warrant has also been issued for Radoičić for war crimes, the portal reminds.
