Dugin: Vučić's legitimacy has disappeared

Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, close to the Russian authorities, speaking on his author's program on Radio Sputnik, said that the legitimacy of Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić has disappeared.

"All Serbs want Vučić to go. Today, he has the state apparatus behind him and no support from the population. The only thing is that people who are afraid of another color revolution are not participating in protests, they are not going out to the square, they are not shouting. But Vučić is finished, his legitimacy is gone," Dugin said.

He, reports Danas.rs, believes that the protesters on the streets express the opinion of the entire Serbian society, which is unlikely to compromise with the current authorities.

"I think these protests are aimed at Vučić simply disappearing somewhere. That is, no compromises, no agreements, no implementation of any more concrete pragmatic goals will solve the situation here. Vučić must go. That is the opinion of Serbian society," summed up Dugin, who is otherwise described by some media as Putin's court philosopher.
