Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that he will always support Novak Djokovic with all his heart, even though he supported the "blockades".
"I spoke with Novak the night before he supported the blockaders. I won't go into details, he called me. I didn't comment on anything after that and I won't comment," Vučić said in an interview with TV Informer last night, as reported on the Informer website.
Vučić said that "of course he supports Djokovic with all his heart, he is a legend of Serbia."
"What do I think about his political stance? I've been talking about it all evening. But he's done so much for Serbia, I'll never say a bad word. He can speak against me as much as he wants, support political opponents, but for me to say anything bad about him is silly and stupid," said Vučić, stating that yesterday he wholeheartedly supported Djokovic against Janik Siner and that he "will always support him."
