United Group BV confirms that Dragan Šolak, through companies owned by him, together with his former management, has filed a claim with the Chamber of Commerce of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam. The claim objects to the non-renewal of the consulting contract with United Group, as well as alleged delays in payments to his companies, including dividends, United Group announced today.
According to them, these are demands that reflect exclusively Šolak's personal interests, not the interests of the United Group.
"In a request to the Dutch court, Šolak asked the court for urgent action, claiming that there is a 'serious management crisis' at the company," the statement said.
As stated in the statement, United Group BV completely rejected his claims and allegations, and explained to the court that there was no basis for urgent consideration of this case.
"The current management of the company is highly qualified to lead United Group. The new CEO, Mr. Stan Miller, and Deputy CEO, Mr. Libor Vončina, have extensive experience in management positions in the telecommunications and media sectors. The Commercial Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam rejected Šolak's request to consider the case urgently. The court is expected to schedule a hearing in October or November 2025. United Group is confident in the outcome of the proceedings and the rejection of Šolak's claims," the United Group statement concluded.
