Media: Šapić threatened Đilas, cursed at him, told him he would find him when he least expected it

Belgrade Mayor Aleksandar Šapić (SNS) threatened the president of the Freedom and Justice Party (SSP), Dragan Đilas, as can be seen from a message the SSP leader posted on Twitter (X).

In addition to swearing and the message that he would "find him personally, when he least expected it," Šapić also wrote to Đilas that he could freely report it to the police, and that the mayor would confirm that he had sent it, or "that he had promised him that."

Based on the recording below the message and its content, Šapić reacted to the latest episode of Đilas' podcast "The Guilty One", in which the SSP leader spoke about the recent traffic accident in New Belgrade, in which a family of three died after their car was hit by a driver under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Namely, Šapić stated that the accident probably would not have happened if left turns had been disabled at that location, and Đilas commented on this by saying, "we have a mayor who says that the death of three people is not the fault of an idiot who was drunk and high on drugs and drove 150 km/h and then hit a car that was passing on a green light. So, he is not to blame, but the problem is that it is allowed to turn left at the intersection."

Šapić did not confirm to the portal of the weekly "Vreme" that the aforementioned message was authentic.
