Supporters of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) attacked a Beta agency correspondent and a journalist from the Subotičke.rs portal in front of the party's premises in Subotica today.

As Beta's correspondent reported, men dressed in black forbade female journalists from photographing the rally taking place in front of the SNS premises.

One of them crumpled the accreditation that Beta's reporter was wearing around her neck, and tried to take her colleague's phone.

The police arrived soon after and prevented a major incident.

Citizens of Subotica gathered tonight at around 18 pm at the "Patria" hotel in the city center in support of Dijana Hrka, who is on a hunger strike demanding that those responsible for the death of her son and 15 other victims who died when the canopy of the Novi Sad train station collapsed be punished.

Not far from there are the SNS offices, in front of which a group of supporters of that party were gathered.
