Officers of the Department for Combating Smuggling seized a diamond ring worth more than half a million dinars (4.200 euros) at the Preševo Border Crossing, on the border of Serbia and North Macedonia, the Customs Administration of the Serbian Ministry of Finance announced today.
Yesterday, February 4th, in cooperation with the police, they found a diamond ring in its original packaging, with an invoice, among the clothes in a passenger's suitcase.
By decision of the competent court, the ring was permanently confiscated and the passenger was fined.
