The leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) Milorad Dodik said that European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos is "completely irrelevant" to him and he does not want to deal with her.
"Marta Kos, whoever she is, says I'm not important to her, yet she's constantly dealing with me. What would she do if I were important," Dodik wrote on the social network X.
According to him, when Kos "utters his name unprovoked, he points out her insignificance."
Stating that Kos is announcing talks in Republika Srpska, he assessed that Kos in Banja Luka "can talk to losers or to herself in the mirror."
"She also talks about secession. She knows that very well. She comes from a country (Slovenia) that implemented secession," Dodik wrote.
He added that Serbs are "for themselves, not against others" and that is why there is a difference.
Banja Luka media reported the European Commissioner's statement that, in addition to Dodik not being important to her, he does not represent the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina or Republika Srpska.
"More than a million people live in Republika Srpska and they are important to me. I will also talk to the new president of Republika Srpska," Kos said, emphasizing that she does not know Siniša Karan.
She also added that she was criticized for speaking with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
"Of course I talk. He is the elected president. I don't qualify anyone one way or the other, I am always in favor of dialogue. It's easier to close the door, but then what? As long as I can talk, then I can criticize," Kos emphasized.
