The North Macedonian government plane was used about 40 times from June 2024, when VMRO DPMNE formed the government, until the end of 2025, and most often flew to Budapest - seven times, Telma television announced today.
As reported, of the ministers in Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski's cabinet, the one who flew the most was the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, who used the government plane 11 times, six of which were for flights to the Hungarian capital.
According to documents from the government's General and Joint Affairs Service, a case was recorded when a government "Learjet" was sent for service to the German city of Nuremberg on January 12th of last year, from where it was sent to Budapest so that Nikoloski could return to Skopje.
Only the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, used the government plane more than Nikoloski. She flew 13 times, and in the neighborhood she was in Tivat, Podgorica, Tirana, and also had flights to Rome, Istanbul and Copenhagen.
Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi used the government plane seven times, and was accompanied by his wife on three flights.
North Macedonia Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has used an official plane three times. Once, he went to Budapest, and on August 10th last year, he traveled to Split, during a period when the media reported that he would be vacationing in Croatia.
He also traveled to Tirana, and there is no complete information for one flight from Skopje to Belgrade. It says the user is the Prime Minister, but the passenger column is empty.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, Timčo Mucunski, had the same number of flights on the government plane as the Prime Minister – he was in Rotterdam, Belgrade, and Strasbourg.
According to data for a year and a half, from mid-2024 to the end of 2025, the government plane was serviced nine times, and had two medical and passenger evacuation flights.
