Croatia has done everything to destroy Serbia in the last year and a half, and this brutal interference in Serbia's internal affairs shows how much they need to dominate this area and how much they need to humiliate Serbia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said in Belgrade tonight.
Vučić told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that Croatia was "the main logistical support for the destruction of Serbia for everyone from Serbia" in the last year and a half, since the beginning of the protests after the collapse of the canopy at the Novi Sad railway station.
"They are still holding people accused of serious crimes, even though an Interpol red notice has been issued for these individuals (the Novi Sad activists). They are still conducting the most negative campaign against Serbia. They launched the false 'Sarajevo Safari' affair. We have never done that to Croatia, or to any other country. They tried to destroy our country, but they failed," Vučić said.
Asked about tonight's statement by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković that he would warn NATO about Serbia's new weapons, Vučić said that for a year he had "heard stories" that Croatia had a better and stronger army than Serbia, and that Zagreb was now surprised when they saw that Serbia had hypersonic ballistic missiles.
"These are air-to-surface missiles, meaning they target targets on the ground. They can hit targets at distances of up to 200 and up to 400 kilometers. They are terribly expensive and efficient, and we got a small discount," Vučić said in response to a journalist's comment that Pakistan paid China one and a half million euros per missile.
He stated that Serbia has fair and good relations with NATO and will continue to build them, but that it will not join the Western military alliance.
"We will have exercises with NATO soon, we will do everything to have stable relations with them, we do not want any hostilities and we will not have them. But while I am president, Zagreb will not decide how Serbia will protect its country," Vučić added.
The Serbian President said that he still has fears about the "formation of a military alliance" between Croatia, Albania and Kosovo because he wants his legacy to be peace, not war and conflict, despite Plenković's recent statement that in New Delhi he managed to dispel Vučić's fears about military cooperation between Pristina, Zagreb and Tirana.
"Plenković told me that it was not directed against Serbia and that we attach great importance to it, I listened to him and that was it. Do I still have that dose of unease and fear? I do. That military alliance is directed directly against Serbia, there is no other reason why that alliance was made," Vučić said.
He stated that Serbia is "preparing for an attack" by Albania, Croatia and Kosovo, stating that they are "forming a military alliance to attack Serbia at some point in the future."
"They will wait for the moment for a larger conflict between the Europeans and the Russians, and an even larger conflict in the Middle East. We cannot attack NATO countries, nor do we want to, but do I doubt their intentions - I think those are their only intentions, they are just waiting for a favorable moment when there will be general chaos in the world," he added.
Vučić also said that "people don't have to worry" because Serbia "has enough strength for a clear deterrent message" to all three entities.
"Serbia is strong enough to preserve its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the freedom and security of its citizens," Vučić said, adding that Serbia "undoubtedly has a stronger army" than all the countries of the former Yugoslavia.
