Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić congratulated Tisa party leader Peter Magar on his victory in the parliamentary elections in Hungary this morning.
"I congratulate Peter Magyar on his election victory. I believe in the continuation of good cooperation between Hungary and Serbia and am grateful to Viktor Orban for making such relations possible," Vučić said in a post on the social network X.
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on Sunday, in which, according to preliminary results, the opposition party of Peter Magyar's Tisa won, winning a two-thirds majority in parliament.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban admitted defeat.
The turnout in the elections was record-breaking, with 77,8 percent of voters voting.
