SV and MS were arrested yesterday and ordered to be detained for up to 48 hours on suspicion of attempted aggravated murder of Nešović, illegal carrying of weapons and causing general danger.
The body of Aleksandar Nešović Baja, in connection with whose disappearance Belgrade Police Chief Veselin Milić was arrested yesterday, was found next to the highway near Šimanovci, the Danas portal previously reported, citing "multiple sources" from the police.
Milić was arrested with three other police officers on suspicion of committing the criminal offenses of "failure to report a criminal offense and the perpetrator" and "assisting the perpetrator after the criminal offense has been committed."
He was previously questioned as part of the investigation into AN's disappearance, which, according to media reports, involved the police officers who were guarding him.
