In Kosovo, voting in the early parliamentary elections began at exactly seven o'clock at the polling station in the "Prizrenska Liga" school in Peja, with the vote of the President of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Krešnik Radonjići.

At the first press conference, CEC spokesperson Valjmir Eljezi announced that all 949 polling centers were open, with a total of 2.550 polling stations, and that the voting process was proceeding normally.

The number of Kosovo citizens with the right to vote in this electoral process is 2.092.174 voters, which is 15.884 voters more than in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo held on December 28, 2025.

According to data from the Voter Register, the number of citizens with the right to vote at polling stations in Kosovo is 1.959.962 voters, while the number of citizens registered to vote outside Kosovo is 132.212 voters, of which 100.970 are registered to send a ballot to a mailbox outside Kosovo, 3.518 to send a ballot to a mailbox in Kosovo and 27.724 to vote physically at diplomatic missions.

Voting will close at 7:00 PM.

21 political entities are participating in the elections, with 902 candidates for MPs, including three coalitions, 17 political parties and one independent candidate.

Security and judicial institutions have taken concrete measures to ensure that the electoral process proceeds smoothly.

Judges and judicial officers will be on duty in all basic courts and their departments in municipalities in Kosovo. Around 100 prosecutors will also be on duty.

The Kosovo Police has drawn up a special operational plan that foresees taking specific measures to ensure that the electoral process goes smoothly.

The elections are being monitored by 16.543 accredited observers, who come from domestic and international non-governmental organizations, political parties, media and other entities authorized to monitor the election process.
