Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced today that the name of the party's list for the upcoming elections, slogans, as well as part of the election program, will be presented at the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) rally in Belgrade on June 27th.
Vučić, appearing on Prva television, said that the gathering would be held in the afternoon and that those present would be able to hear what the "Plan for the Future" is.
"I hope we will succeed in convincing people that we are not exactly monsters, murderers and inhumans. Our existing plans are serious and responsible," said the Serbian president.
He announced that the next day, June 28th, he would speak about state measures that would include pensioners and the most vulnerable groups of citizens.
Asked if it was known who the SNS candidate for president of Serbia would be, he said that he had several names in mind.
"That is not the essence, but the program and plan that we offer," Vučić replied.
The Serbian President also said that his decision not to impose sanctions on Russia over the war in Ukraine "has stood the test of time."
When asked about Montenegro's relationship with Serbia, Vučić said that the relationship is unchanged, "not one iota better or one iota worse."
As he told TV Prva, Montenegro did not "adhere to international law or friendly relations with Serbia."
When asked about the situation in the Middle East, Vučić said he hopes that US President Donald Trump will establish peace in the Persian Gulf, adding that "that would be important and good news for everyone."

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today that some people, for a strange reason, distanced themselves on March 15th last year, when there was a large protest in Belgrade, and that the claim about a sound cannon is a lie, as an excuse because the protest failed.
"Some people are moving left and right for strange reasons, it's strange for every person. I hope that one day we will find out all the details, just as we found out that there was no sonic cannon, the report from the Russian services was precise and perfect," Vučić told TV Prva.
He stated that this was then used according to the model of a color revolution so that opponents, through media outlets close to him, could portray him as someone who "shot his people in the back," and then, he added, citizens did not care how many kilometers of roads and railways were built, how many "sleepless nights we had to have fuel and other things now."
He said that opponents are trying to portray him as "inhuman" and that an attempt to "break him psychologically would not be able to withstand one in a million people."
"You could never see hatred towards political opponents in me, no matter what they said about me," Vučić said, stating that such people had destined the worst fate for him.
He emphasized that he always bothered the foreign factor, various embassies and centers of power because, he stated, he always pursued the policy of an independent Serbia and never served the interests of others.
