Vučić: Radić summoned to the police to give a statement about his knowledge regarding the sound cannon

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said today that military analyst Aleksandar Radić, whose apartment was searched today, has been summoned to the police to give a statement about his knowledge regarding the sonic cannon.

He said in an interview on Informer television that everyone who claimed that the government used a sound cannon on March 15th last year would be contacted and given statements.

"Give a statement and explain where the sound cannon was. Just don't make political statements, but let us show you how and in what way you knew," Vučić said.

Today, the police searched Radić's apartment in Belgrade, and the editor-in-chief of the Beta news agency, Vojkan Kostić, was also present at the scene, and members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs handed him a summons to report to the Criminal Police Directorate (UKP) in New Belgrade.

The summons states that Kostić should report to collect information in the pre-investigation procedure for the criminal offense of "Preparing an act against the constitutional order and security of Serbia."

The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office (HPO) in Belgrade announced today that in accordance with the law and the evidence collected, all those who committed a criminal offense that is prosecuted ex officio will be prosecuted, specifically all those who are found to have prepared, organized, implemented and spread the same narrative in the media and on social networks about the alleged use of a "sound cannon".
