The President of the Center for Democracy Dragoljub Mićunović assessed for NIN that the April presidential elections will be undemocratic, unequal and that they are an introduction to an authoritarian regime, with the full rule of one man, reports N1.
"We will listen to long-known music with familiar words: "I am the people, you are traitors and mercenaries, I am a patriot, you are other people's servants". Everything is good and familiar, both songs and singers, it remains to be seen if the audience is deaf" , Mićunović said.
Mićunović believes that suspending the work of the parliament during the campaign is a coup d'état and that it is known from whom the President of the Assembly received instructions for such an act.
"She left the session for consultations with the Government! She didn't consult with the gatekeeper, did she? So, we know who she got the instructions from," Mićunović added.
Mićunović is convinced that Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić, the ruling coalition's candidate for president of Serbia, will return to the post of prime minister if he loses the elections.
"He will continue to rule as before, as if nothing had happened. There is a cowardly part of the story, because he planned it that way," he added.
"How we will get out of this situation remains to be seen2, Mićunović believes, but the citizens have that ballot, to get rid of their fear and react to this kind of situation.
