The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) arrested "members of a terrorist group" that was planning to carry out attacks in Moscow, RIA reported today.
The FSB says that the group was acting on the orders of the commander of the Islamic State in Turkey and that four people were arrested.
That commander, according to AP, is also wanted by the Tajik authorities.
The group of those arrested also includes citizens of Moldova and Tajikistan, reports Reuters.
They planned to carry out "a series of terrorist attacks in Moscow using explosive devices".
They were arrested in Moscow and its surroundings.
Weapons and explosives were found with them.
