British Prime Minister Theresa May assured German Chancellor Angela Merkel today that preparations for Britain's exit from the European Union (EU) are on the right track and that the legal withdrawal process could begin at the end of March next year.
"Our work is on the right track, we are ready to activate Article 50 (of the EU Lisbon Treaty) before the end of March or by the end of March 2017," British Prime Minister Merkel said during a joint media briefing in Berlin.
