British Prime Minister Theresa May has vowed to put the UK at the forefront of global efforts to stamp out modern slavery, warning traffickers: "We're coming for you".
May called for a more urgent solution to this type of crime that knows no borders and affects 46 million people worldwide, while at the same time bringing in annual illegal profits of 150 billion dollars, reported Reuters.
The British Prime Minister told the victims of modern slavery that their suffering will not be ignored and that she will work tirelessly to catch the perpetrators of this type of crime.
