The German police evacuated a passenger plane at Kassel airport today after an anonymous telephone tip that there was a suitcase with dangerous contents on board.
"Kassel Kalden Airport received an anonymous call in which they were informed that there was a suitcase with dangerous contents among the luggage," according to a statement from the police of the federal state of Hessen.
"The police then evacuated the passengers in order to verify the statements of the unidentified person," the statement said, adding that it was a domestic, German flight, reports Reuters.
