Authorities in Turkey have arrested three suspects in connection with a bomb attack in Istanbul that killed 11 people on Tuesday, the Anadolu Agency reported today.
The Prosecutor's Office indicted one suspect for premeditated murder and participation in a terrorist organization, while the other two were charged only with participation in a terrorist organization.
There is no information on what role the suspects played in the suicide attack near a police station in southeastern Turkey.
Six policemen and five civilians were killed in the attack on Tuesday.
Turkish officials have accused fighters from the so-called Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) of attacking police officers in the city of Midyat, Mandrin province.
The PKK has been attacking police and military officials since July, when a peace deal between the rebels and the Turkish government collapsed.
For more than three decades, the PKK has been waging an armed struggle for the secession of southeastern Turkey, where the majority of Kurds live.
