President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko made official the decision of the Council for National Security and Defense of that country on sanctions against managers of certain Russian media.
The sanctions primarily refer to the editor-in-chief of the television channel Rasha Today and the international agency "Northern Russia" Margarita Simonyan, the general director of the Russian State Radio and Television Oleg Dobrodeev, the general director of the television company Prvi Kanal Konstantin Ernst, the former editor-in-chief of the television channel "Life news" and the newspaper "Izvestija" by Alexander Potapov and the general director of the TAS S agency Sergej Mihailov, reports Sputnik.
The ban on entering Ukraine for these journalists, according to Poroshenko's decree, is valid until December 31, 2017.
Margarita Simonyan, responding to Poroshenko's decree, invited everyone who was on the list to call it "Crimean champagne with a real local strawberry."
The decision on new personal restrictive measures was adopted by the Council for National Security and Defense of Ukraine on May 20.
At the same time, Poroshenko also made official the decision of the National Security Council of Ukraine, according to which the ban on entering Ukraine for 29 Russian and other foreign journalists, including associates of MIA "Russia North", was lifted.
