New footage of the plane crash in Rostov-on-Don could lead to a twist in the investigation.
62 people died in the plane crash that happened yesterday.
In a new video of lower quality, which shows the plane falling from a different angle, some Russian media claim that it is concluded that the aircraft was on fire even before touching the ground, which, they write, could lead to a twist in the investigation.
Those in the know claim that the bright light seen in the video is most likely just the light that is always on on the plane during landing.
Information leaked to the public that the pilot Aristos Sokratus ignored the warnings about bad weather and dangerous turbulence sent to him by flight control from Rostov-on-Don.
Also, it was supposed to be the last flight for Sokratos for "Flydubai" because he signed a contract with "Ryaner". He had 5.900 flight hours behind him, while co-pilot Alejandro Alava had 5.700 flight hours.
"What's the weather like," was the last question Sokratus asked flight control before the plane crashed, and during the conversation there was no hint that anything was wrong or that the pilot and co-pilot were upset.
The search of the accident site has been completed
Emergency service workers completed the search of the crash site on the airport runway in Rostov-on-Don.
The Minister of Emergencies of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Puchkov, said that the two black boxes of the plane are being examined in Moscow.
As stated, the black boxes will be examined by experts from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, France and the USA.
Hundreds of people today laid flowers, toys and candles at the largest airport in the region in memory of the victims of the accident.
Rostov-on-Don is located 950 kilometers south of Moscow, near the border with Ukraine.
