British Prime Minister Theresa May announced today to MPs that she is postponing the scheduled vote on Brexit in parliament until tomorrow due to the disagreement of British parliamentarians who are threatening to reject the proposal.
"We are postponing the vote until tomorrow," May said.
She added that British MPs are still against the solution related to the establishment of a physical border between the British province of Northern Ireland and Ireland.
The British Prime Minister said that her proposal for an agreement on the separation of Britain and the EU is still "the best agreement that can be negotiated".
She told members of parliament that any Brexit deal requires compromise.
The agreement that May reached with the EU is opposed by a significant part of her conservatives, opposition parties - Labor and Liberal Democrats, as well as the Scottish National Party, which is why there were minimal chances for the agreement to pass the British Parliament.
May was expected to try to persuade MPs to support the deal by suggesting that the contentious section on Northern Ireland could be changed.
The European Court of Justice ruled today that Great Britain can unilaterally withdraw from the decision on Brexit, which followed two years ago in Great Britain when 51,9 percent of those who left voted for leaving, and 48,1 percent for remaining in the EU.
