Spectators descended on the field: The explosion was heard in the broadcast

The sound of an explosion near the Stade de France during the match between France and Germany was also recorded on the broadcast of that match.

The explosion is part of a series of attacks that have claimed dozens of lives in Paris.

French President Francois Hollande left the game after a series of attacks.

Spectators were initially allowed to leave the stadium, and a large number of them descended on the field in fear. The German national team was still at the stadium about half an hour after midnight.
