Former member of the British group The Beatles Paul McCartney said today that lifting the ban on fox hunting will be an unpopular move by British Prime Minister David Cameron.
McCartney gave a speech before the government's proposal to lift the hunting ban, a week before the vote in Parliament.
He said many Britons who support the Conservative government would turn against him if hunting is legalized again.
"It's cruel and unnecessary and will lose the support of ordinary people and animal lovers like myself," he said.
