British Prime Minister David Cameron said today that Russia's illegal actions in Ukraine have reached a new level and that any attempt by pro-Russian forces to expand their territory will be retaliated by the introduction of Western sanctions against Moscow.
"Not only is Russia not changing course, but its completely unjustified and illegal actions in eastern Ukraine reached a new level, when pro-Russian forces violated the ceasefire to take Debaltsevo, which would not have been possible without Russian fighters and equipment," he said. Cameron to MPs, reported Reuters.
"Russia must know that any attempt by pro-Russian forces to expand their territory - whether in the direction of Mariupol or elsewhere, will be met with new EU and US sanctions," said the British Prime Minister.
