Ona was arrested yesterday after her plane landed at Stansted Airport in London. Her arrest was connected to a previous investigation that resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old man in October last year, reports Radio Free Europe.
The woman was transferred to a police station in London, where she was detained.
The newspaper "Daily Mail" announced that it is 18-year-old Silhan Ozdželik, who disappeared in October last year. It is believed that she had fled to Syria to fight in the ranks of the "Islamic State".
This is the latest arrest in a series of actions by British anti-terrorist police since the threat level of terrorism in Britain was increased in August due to the activities of Islamists returning from Iraq and Syria.
