Deputies of the Communist Party of Russia propose the adoption of a law on state price planning and the introduction of food stamps, reports the Russian press today.
"Rosiskaya Gazeta" writes that the deputies of the Communist Party, headed by Gennady Zyuganov, have already presented the bill to the Russian Duma.
According to that proposal, the state would determine the price of "basic food products", not only in stores, but at all stages of production. "Moscow Komsomolets" also reported that the deputies of the Communist Party propose that the government should determine the rate of import of certain agricultural products.
However, experts believe that this measure would only lead to a deficit and inflation.
