This year, every third Swiss company had problems finding adequate staff, according to a study by the Manpower Suisse company, which specializes in temporary employment.
The study states that Swiss companies lack qualified workers, managers and technicians, reports Capital.ba.
33 percent of surveyed companies, out of 752 of them, faced problems in hiring the necessary staff this year, in contrast to 33 percent of them last year.
Swiss entrepreneurs, in addition to the mentioned personnel, also report a shortage of professional financial staff, as well as drivers.
In sixth place are trade representatives, after temporarily disappearing from the list of the ten most deficient occupations last year.
In the seventh position among the missing occupations is hotel and restaurant staff, ahead of secretaries and administrative officers who occupied the third place last year.
In the ninth position are engineers, and in the last, tenth position, there are project managers, who have not been on the list of staff shortages since 2010.
The main reasons for the staff shortage have not changed compared to last year. Companies again cited the lack of specialized professions and adequate certificates.
