The world's largest food company, Nestlé, has opened a new €50 million facility at the Wagner frozen pizza factory in Germany.
With this investment, the production of Wagner's products has increased, and 50 new jobs have been created, according to the company's announcement.
According to the company's Chief Technology Operations Officer, it represents the most advanced frozen pizza production line in Europe.
This investment is part of Nestlé's ongoing efforts to strengthen its expertise in frozen and chilled foods. This year, the company also announced an investment of almost 40 million euros in research and development in the frozen food segment in the United States of America.
