The train that derailed last Sunday in Spain was traveling at 179 kilometers per hour at the time of the accident, the investigation found after opening the "black box".

The train driver was talking on the phone for up to 11 seconds before the accident, which killed 79 people and injured 140, investigators found.
The train was heading from Madrid to the town of El Ferol.
It derailed near Santiago de Compostela, in the province of Galicia.
