This Sunday, the situation regarding the unfolding of the political crisis in Slovenia could have become clearer, the media in that country claim today.
After the Civic List (GL) has already withdrawn from the center-right ruling coalition of Prime Minister Janez Janša, and the Democratic Party of Pensioners (DESUS) led by Foreign Affairs Minister Karl Erjavec announced this at the end of the month, on Wednesday they will decide on moves in that direction and the Slovenian People's Party (SLS).
At the same time, according to the Slovenian media, the negotiations of the three ruling parties continue as the future nucleus in the formation of a "project government" that would succeed the current Janšina, because the coalition partners are gradually abandoning her, thereby losing support in the parliament.
The topic of the possible unraveling of the political crisis in the country probably will not be able to be avoided even by the president of the country, Borut Pahor, who will meet with the leaders of the political parties at the end of Sunday, according to the media.
By the way, the main topics of the already arranged meeting, which will probably be held on Thursday, are securing political consensus and the necessary parliamentary majority for the labor market liberalization law, constitutional changes that would limit the possibility of calling a referendum, and the ratification of Croatia's accession agreement with the EU.
