The science and entertainment center in the "Komsomol" shopping center in Eastern Siberia, Russia, was closed after eight children were injured in a chemical experiment, reports Tanjug.
During the experiment, which was organized in "Komsomol" in Irkutsk on the occasion of the International Day of Children's Protection, flammable gas touched an open flame and caught fire, reports TAS S, adding that eight children sought medical help.
The injured children (aged eight to 13) were diagnosed with first and second degree burns.
The technical director and instructors of the center where the children were injured were taken into custody.
