The document envisages the permanent stationing of a base of American soldiers on Polish territory and a regular rotation of American military aircraft, whose pilots will train together with Polish ones.
"From 2013, the American base will be deployed in Poland, serving regular rotations of American military and transport aircraft," said Polish Defense Minister Bogdan Klich.
Klich added that Polish and American pilots will train together "four times a year."
F-16 fighters and Hercules C-130 transport aircraft will participate in the rotations.
The agreement was signed by Polish Minister Klich and US Ambassador in Warsaw Lee Feinstein.
